Thyroid - (T3, T4 & TSH)

A thyroid test is used to check how well your thyroid is working and find the cause of problems such as hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in your neck that secretes two thyroid hormones, namely thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Early detection of thyroid-related issues may save complications at a later stage. Physicians may be able to suggest some pre-emptive and preventive measures to avoid complications.
